There are two major concert events being planned and implemented. The theme of both events is to honor the memory of those in the music industry who have passed away and have made huge impacts and influences on the lives of so many over the decades. These events include Singers, Performers, Promoters, and those we’ve looked up to and adored throughout the decades of the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s.
The IMPORTANCE of these events is to shed light on the accomplishments of those who are being honored, and to enlighten the younger generations as to the significance of the artists contributions throughout their careers, and how their contributions have laid the groundwork for the latter artists and industry moguls. These events will keep the memories alive as well as to teach the younger generations why we are honoring specific artists, and how their influence has molded the music industry as well as the fans world-wide.
The first day will be the top R&B groups and bands – who have confirmed their participation – will be performing. The second show will be the event focus is on the top Rock Bands and groups of the era of focus.
Proceeds from the event will be given to designated Foundations and Family Members (as selected by the artists) of whom we are honoring. Each band or performer can provide John E. Williams III Productions with the name of whom they select for their funds distribution (restricted to promoter foundation, band member foundation, or deceased band member).
All and all, this is a much needed event scenario. Honoring, in memory of all those who have passed away, and their contributions to the music industry and the world-at-large, is both noble and important for the historical impact they’ve had on our overall culture and the world at large.
